For Parents & Caregivers
Support for the people doing the parenting.
Being a caregiver today isn't what it used to be, and kids don't come with a manual. Dedicated parent sessions are a space to work through what's happening at home, communication, emotion coaching, repair, and the parts of parenting that aren't in the book. I'll help you navigate it.

What Parent Sessions Can Cover
Real, practical, non-judgmental
Parenting a Neurodivergent Child
ADHD, autism, sensory needs. Strategies grounded in affirming, strengths-based approaches.
Co-Regulation
Staying grounded when your kid can't, so you can be the calm their nervous system borrows from.
Repair After Rupture
What to do after you lose it (because we all do). Repair is the skill, not perfection.
Communication
How to say hard things clearly, listen without fixing, and talk about feelings when your child shuts down.
Navigating Big Changes
Divorce, loss, moves, new siblings, illness. Supporting your child through what's changing.
Your Own Capacity
You can't pour from an empty cup. Sessions are also about your nervous system, your limits and your needs.

When This Helps
When direct child therapy isn't the right step yet.
Sometimes your child isn't ready, they're too young, they don't want to talk to a stranger, or the work really needs to happen in the parent-child relationship itself. Parent counselling is often the most effective thing for kids under 6, or for families in a hard season.
It's also useful alongside your child's therapy, we can work in parallel, so what they're learning in session is supported at home.
Booking note: Ongoing 50-minute parent sessions are available when your child is a current client. Otherwise, new parent sessions are booked as 60-minute intakes, with 50-minute ongoing sessions.
